Mamarosa The Last Lecture Apr 10, 2008 1:42 PM This book/ lecture has popped out on my email and on the web and sticks out to me as something worth checking. Here's the link I got this morning: '' Hey, when you get a free moment, take a look at this short video clip. At times, we all get stressed with the pressures placed upon us. You might have read about this guy, he was featured on the front cover of PARADE magazine in this past Sunday's newspaper": http://video.stumbleupon.com/?s=ithct48cqw&i=ufcchmyxqsuj9vwsemax I also saw that someone else has commented on it: http://teamsugar.com/user/Cocoangel/blog/1519798 My first thought is that this is the perfect book for the community service/ civic engaged community. His book discusses, `` a simple, earnest account of the things he hold dear. This isn't a book about how to die. It's a book about how to truly live.'' I find when I'm out there in the community, helping others, I can finally forget about me and do things that help me remember why we are alive- for me it's all about each other. What do you think - have you read this book?
